Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Today, we swedes dance all goofy and sing Små Grodorna små grodorna, drink aloooooooooooooooot, no I REALLY MEAN ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

- of all kinds of booze and the Swedish Brännvin Snapps. We use flower decorations in our hair and put 7 diffrent flowers underneath our pillow to make us dream about the man we're going to marry. ~~Yeah, this is a strange tradition, I know.~~ The huge thing we dance around is called Midsommarstång, a huge three dressed in leafs, flowers and moore flowers, and in old tradition this is an ~~penis~~ that we dance around, just because we want to hail manhood and summer. But that's old tradition. Now, it's ALL ABOUT THE BOOOOOOOZZZZEEEEE.
