Hello, fellow artists, I see you

This is a love letter from one artist to another.

Sometimes I feel embarrassed for being so insecure about my art.
Sometimes I feel ashamed that I don't have more courage to love my art.
Sometimes I feel down because I get so surprised whenever I get a new follower who likes my art.
Sometimes I feel sad because I'm not a strong and secure artist.
Sometimes I feel so much for good artists who shares the same feeling as I am for my art.

Sometimes I just wish my self esteem would be as good as my art actually is.

It's not that we hate our art. Nor doesn't believe in ourselves when we post things like "I can't even-- why does such good artists like my work, I'm not worthy" and so on.

Because if we didn't feel one bit secure about what we posted here on the Internet, for everyone, flamers, haters, trolls, but also fans and soulmates, we'd never expose ourselves through art like we're doing, year after year.

Yes, I know, I'm not one to hypocrite, I do sometimes feel insecure about my art.
But that only proves me to be human. All of us artists are just humans. We have our needs, and those who are good enough to work their art onto paper, canvas or through Photoshop or whatever, gets more hits. But those people are just humans, as well.

When I got new followers in the beginning of Eons Ago, I was actually kind of surprised. I had no idea I could enchant people like this, through drawing and writing a comic. Not that I doubted I would be bad at doing it, but I was fairly surprised anyway. And of course, at first, when some artists I really liked started to watch me and comment on this series of mine, I was so excited and almost shamefully happy. I thought "I've been watching this artist for so long, and now she/he likes MY art?? This is to good to be true!"

But then again, with the right compositions of art, positions, famous characters... anything can be good. Art is just that. Good or not good, but what IS reflected as good or not, is through the watchers eyes, taste and like.

The thing is, I know this Journal might upset some people, or some will agree with me, and some might even start to reflect over this, and how you see your art yourself. The greatness lies in the artists mind and fingers, not in the tools of type. Nor the amount of watchers or page views.

As long as you are aware of yourself being a artist, you can always get better, and you can always work on your self esteem as a artist.

I dedicate this love letter-Journal to some dear friends of mine, and the artists out there I respect very much, who is low on their self esteem towards their art. You guys are great.

* Coloring or Tone; You can choose from these two.

* X-pairings or /-Parings; Mosty, I draw TFP-characters, but I can make others too. X-parings are often couples, and /- is friends.
Links to the characters is a must if it's not TF- characters.

* Time-limit; I take some time when I draw, and I take a week for the submission to be uploaded and finished.
IF I get too many commissions at one time, I sometimes have to decline a request and do it some other time. Please don't take it personally!

OC's;  No, sorry, I don't draw them. I do neither NOT draw "Me and *random TF- character name*.
