Transformers Prime s.1 ep. 1
Due to the new YouTube rules and Hasbros haunt for submited TFP-videos, I won't submit the links, merely to keep the uploader safe. Please understand. If you want to see the full episode, go watch The Hub.com. PLUS THE FACT THAT I OWN TFP SEASON 1 ON DVD.
Heeey guys, guess what this journal will be all about

When ~Gnejs showed me TFP for the first time, I was like "Nah. Are you kidding me, Wifey?? TRANSFORMERS?... it doesn't sound too funny. It's gigantic robots fighting... not my style." Oh, how I would get eat those words...
So the episode starts off with Cliffjumper aka Cliff and Arcee chit-chatting about Cliffs new boot and, yeah, it's kind of dull. It's just plain talking, nothing fancy about it. It gives us the impression of a couple of friends where the guy is a real "cool guy", and Arcee is the proper girlfriend. REALLY. That's how I saw it! Those minutes didn't really catch my eye and I yawned from the start.
BUT THEN. Suddenly, they mention The Decepticons and Cliff is out to seek out a signal of a Energon location. He rejects Arcee's ask for help and races away to the location- ALONE. Okay, now we're talking. He transforms, and....wait, he TRANSFORMED!?
So Cliffy decides to call Arcee for help, and as he waits, the other Transformers, called Vehicons or Eridacons, starts to fight. By this time, the other characters from Team Prime is called into the show, starting with Optimus, Ratchet, Bulkhead and Bumblebee. Funny thing is, Arcee said "The Cons are back. Okay... you mean... they've been here before...? And then they suddenly disappeared...? And, hey, WHY ARE YOU ALIENS EVEN ON THIS PLANET TO START WITH? The team scattered all over Earth and Prime tells them to rendezvous back to their HQ to get a bridge to Cliffys co-ordinates. But remember that word, rendezvous, it'll be used A LOT on TFP. At least one time in EACH AND EVERY EPISODE. I'm not kidding.
But back to the fighting, Cliffy and the Vehicons starts to shoot at each other and one of Cliffys horns flies off, but we don't really care about that, do we? What we REALLY cares about is the fact that they are shooting in front of Energon. Dudes, wtf! You should know that that is highly explosive! Aaaand, well, shit goes BOOOMMM. Cliffy, who's standing right in front of the Energon, gets into the blast, and is knocked out. Yeah yeah, it's very heartbreaking.... but we don't care about that neither, because we are about to get introduced to a new Transformer with a abnormal long chin and glowing red eyes with points at different directions. When I was watching the first episode for the first time, I was kind of surprised over that dark voice which came out from his throat. it was very manly, and when I saw him in the next scenes, when he was ultra skinny and had, whoa, such heels, I was even more surprised that he was rather more BIGGER than the other Decepticons. They were buffer, but smaller. Hn. What made me liking that character from the start, which Ciff referred to as "Scream" was when he started to moch him the simple question of the whereabouts of his master. Scream seemed rather irritated over the fact that Cliffy mentioned his boss, and strikes back with "Never mind HIM! I'm my own master!". In the next moment, he roams his friggin' ARM into the poor Cliff, with the sarcastic tone "Any more QUESTIONS?".... yeah, I have one, Screamy. WOULD YOU PLEASE BIT YOUR TONGUE AND NEVER MENTION THIS DEATH AGAIN?
Flipping forward to another scene, the rest of Cliffys friends, who are, by all means, kinda late, arrives. The great Truck gets a really grand opening for his character, and he goes under the name of Optimus Prime. As they search the Energon mine for any enemy hostile, Arcee comes across one of Cliffys horns. We catch her pain in her eyes
Back at the warship, called the Nemesis we come across the elegant and rather feminine Scream again, also called Commander Starscream. As he seems to watch a monitor, another slim and gorgeous robot approaches, a mech called Soudwave. When he starts to play back Arcees voice from her early conversation with Cliff in the beginning of the episode, I got started and thought it was Soundwaves real voice. I should tell you guys that before I started to watch TFP, I didn't either give a crap or knew ANYTHING about Transformers. So Screamy takes on his slimy perv-mode and grins when he hear Arcees voice
....................really, Optimus? You could've just as well told him to STFU.
As we all know, at least us fellow TF-fans, there is HUMANS in almost all of the TF-universes, except from TF Beast Wars. And TFP weren't late on including some Humans into this show. So we meet with the deadly silent and people-empty city of Jasper, Nevada, where a grumpy black haired guy works late at a hamburger joint. Funny job. I've worked on McD for one year when I was a teen to, I feel your pain little guy, I feel your pain... We also get to see Arcee racing the streets, and get company from two Vehicons in vehicle mode, lurking after her. But I don't get it. Why she recalled them as
.....hey, if you haven't noticed yet, they ALL look exactly alike, Arcee. Why are these two TWINS??
So Arcee decides to park and disguise herself from the Vehicons and, yeah, of course, the dull human, called Jack Darby, climbs up on her without buying her some fine oil -or whatever a transformer eat- first! Dude, show a lady some RESPECT. You can't just climb a motorcycle like that, what if the real owner came by and got pissed at you? Yeah, from the start, I got the impression of Jack being a dull character. Then, we gets introduced to two giggling girls, and GOD, so annoying! I won't even bother to write down their names. The red-head is, clearly, Jack's sweetheart crush, and she doesn't even notice him. Whoa, what a Mary-Jane. So the Vehicons, I assume it's Steve and Greg, gets bored with Sierras and Jacks little talk, and decide to start and heat things up. They start to race with Arcee, like Too fast, too furious, but with MUCH cooler cars. Then we get to hear Steve's voice, OH MY GOD, HOW DARK.
.... but then, yeah, then yet another Human gets involved in this series. A little kid with glasses, playing with his toy-Camarro. He's a real sweetheart... ah, and he even answers his phone with "Hey mama!" .... but to cut the call like he did, to his mama, that's NOT cool, little guy. He must be at least... 11-12. Yeah, something like that. He goes by the name Rafael, or Raf, and is rather surprised to find a screaming guy on a motorcycle, who's getting chased by two cars that transforms, and then the motorcycle transforms as well?! AND THEN A GIGANTIC TRANSFORMING CAMARRO JOINS THE FIGHT.
Oh GOD. If we had to await Megatrons comeback up to 15 episodes as we had to wait for him in TFA, I'd skipped watching the next episode. But no, thankfully, we doesn't have to wait for THAT long. Only 3-4 minutes more for his return. Back at the Nemesis, Soundwave tells Starscream that he has a location on their leader, who's been away from them so long. Starscream, who is clearly not enjoying the thought of having his master back on the ship to take over the command, tries to hint to Soundwave that he need so be absolutely certain in his co-ordinates on Megatrons whereabouts. Soundwave makes a nod, and
OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY.
Finally, we'll get to see how this bad-ass character looks like!! The Space bridge, a gigantic green lantern thingy in outer space, spouts out a tiiiiiiny little flying vessel, who transforms into a OH SO BUFF SILVER METAL ROBOT, SCREAMING
....OH. MY. GOD.
If I wasn't in love with the gigantic, transforming, cars when I started to watch ep. 1 about a year ago, I was definitely in love with them now.
Now I was eagerly waiting for the next episode of Transformer Prime, and so will you, with the next review of Darkness Rising part 2....
Oh, and yeah, thank ~Gnejs for showing me the world of Transformers
Yukioni, trolling out.

PS1: Where did you buy 1season on DVD? Because as I know it hadn't been released in Europe.
PS2: No, Optimus couldn't say 'STFU' to Ratchet for 2 reasons: (1)He is Optimus Prime, he sees good in EVERYONE; (2)come on would you says something like that to your wife
Oh, I bought it at a Swedish webbstore, called Megastore :3 it wasn't expensive, and the delivery was fast!
But the expression he gives when he says "Your opinion is noted".... it sure sounds like "Hey, STFU, you." But, God no, I'd never say such a thing to my wifey, she'd kill me for sure OwO
Lucky you @.@. I had a problem to buy Starscream's figure (that sounds better than toy xD) for sister, or Ratchet for myself(no Ratchet in toy shop), but MLP:FiM there was a fricking huge display for nearly WHOLE wall (and that was a tremendous toy's shop).
What he says is what he says, how he looks is how he looks, but come on he's Optimus Prime - one of the most crystal characters after all (and I still like him).
*ill mind on*Optimus killed by Ratchet? Indeed an Evil Overlord
I'm really sorry @@
Well, it's the same here, I'm kind of tired over all this Euro thing... it's EVERY DAY, on the news, with Greece's and Frances bad economy and so on... never anything more fun to listens to!
At least here is no hear of Greece's and France's economy, but in exchange we have Euro nearly 24h/day as informations (even such as 'Football players ATE breakfast' what the hell is this kind of news?!), coverages, advertisements and so one...
And what is the best right now we have some brand-new stadia, that after Euro will be forsaken and become only financial strain. But we have Euro 8D!
Hahah, it seems that you had a little information-overload in the first episode ^^ XDD But - it was the same by me XD
